Short Biography
Dr. Phoebe Oyugi is an expert in international criminal law and justice with over ten years’ experience doing research and work in this area. This includes a Master of Laws Degree and Doctor of Laws degree in international criminal law. She teaches criminal law at the University of Embu and has done consultancies on crime and justice issues with various organizations such as the Defence team of Charles Blé Goudé at the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Kenya. She is currently working as assistant to Counsel in the Defence team of Patrice-Edouard Ngaïssona at the International Criminal Court.
