Short Biography

Dr Wilson Ngigi is a scholar-practitioner in securities/capital markets regulation and whistleblowing law, serving in the Department of Commercial Law, School of Law, University of Embu. He holds a PhD in Law (University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England) and an LLM in Corporate Finance Law (Distinction) (University of Westminster, London, England), and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya from 2010 with professional experience in Kenya and England. He is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in England & Wales and a member of the Law Society of England, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya); he is also part-qualified ACCA. Dr Ngigi serves as the NEGLA Node Representative at the University of Embu (academic networking and collaboration role).
