Our School of Law students participated in the moot court competition on Sexual Minorities Rights. The competition took place on 16th March 2022 at Kisii University School of Law. The theme of the Moot Court Competition was “The legal barriers affecting the Sexual Minorities Rights and Accessing Sexual and Reproductive Services.” Five teams represented the School, each made up of three students. They won big yet again!
The following were the results from the Sexual Minorities Rights Inter-University Moot Court Competition at Kisii University.
- Best Memorial (Nahashon Mburu, Joseph amaganga & Sawda Mohamud)
- Best Female & Male Oralists ( KimathiKanana & munene njoroge)
- Kawira Tracey & Mugambi C Munene took third place in the Best Female & Male Oralist categories respectively
- Munene Njoroge, Melody Murugi & Kipkoech Kelvin took 2nd place in the Best Memorial category while Kawira Tracey, GeorgeNyanaro & Sam Maroro took 3rd place.
